Corporation is comprised of two divisions: Precision Scale &
Balance (PSB), and Niagara Scientific Products (NSP). PSB is an
ISO/IEC 17025 accredited service organization with a team of highly
trained technicians who service and calibrate weighing equipment,
as well as many other types of lab and test/measurement equipment.

courteous team will answer your call! Position Summary The Senior
Accountant is responsible for managing the accounting department
and performing financial analysis of the Company's results.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing and/or
maintaining the Company's accounting systems; preparing and
analyzing financial reports consistent with US GAAP; preparing and
posting journal entries; maintaining and reconciling general ledger
accounts; and generating supporting schedules for various assets,
liabilities, and other financial transitions. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not
limited to the following: Perform basic accounting procedures
(e.g., A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments and inventory
control) Process payroll for the company Prepare financial
statements (e.g., monthly and quarterly financial reports, and
weekly forecasts to management team summarizing current and
projected financial position) Perform month end and quarterly
closing (e.g., balance sheets, income statements and cash flow
statements) Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts in
conjunction with preparing quarterly reports for management Provide
support to external CPAs for the Company's annual review or audit,
tax return preparation, and any other requests Communicate with
customers to address any past due invoices on their account Produce
financial data for management team upon request and assist with
other special accounting projects from time to time Perform
analysis of operations on a monthly basis Ensure all active
projects are covered by valid, binding contracts Minimum
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business,
or related field preferred CPA License Preferred Minimum five (5)
years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or
similar work environment Previous team lead/supervisory experience
required Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and
deadlines Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with
Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting
software and general ledgers Analytical skills with particular
attention to detail Physical Demands and Work Environment The
