The Company’s primary focus is on commercial and industrial paving and site work projects in both the private and public sectors. We specialize in parking lot maintenance, including paving, patching, seal coating, crack sealing, drain work, and site work, which includes a full complement of grading, excavating, and utility installation services. We are looking for a Class A or B Truck Driver to join our team! Essential Functions - Safe transportation of raw materials used to assist in preparing and finishing projects to job sites. - Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately. - Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and the beginning and end of each shift; report any problems or damage to management. - Comply with all DOT and Company rules and regulations. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates primarily in an indoor and outdoor work environment, in all weather conditions. Physical Demands The employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand, climb, or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to push, pull, move, and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb and descend a flight of stairs as needed. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Extended hours, nights and weekend work may be necessary based on business needs. While in season the typical work week is approximately 50-60 hours. Travel This position may require travel and out-of-town work on occasion. Requirements: Qualifications - Reliable transportation - Ability to work well with others, take direction, and adapt to changes - Safety-minded, self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented - Able to pass random drug and alcohol screenings - Adherence to the attendance policy Required Education and Experience - High School Diploma or GED - Class A, preferred; Class B accepted.
