School-day hours with student dismissal at 2:30 M, T, Th, F and 12:30 Wed. No nights or weekends! Paid time off (PTO) accrues even for temporary and part-time staff. Position Summary We are seeking a temporary, part-time Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team for one day per week through June 2025, with the possibility of summer work as well. This role supports preschool-aged children through individualized physical therapy services as outlined in their IEPs. The ideal candidate brings clinical skill, creativity, and a commitment to inclusion. Flexibility, communication, and a collaborative mindset are key. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct therapy sessions based on assigned caseload and IEP requirements. Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations for new students. Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including daily notes, IEP updates, and letters of justification. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student goals. Fit, monitor, and maintain adaptive equipment as needed. Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings. Assist with other school or classroom needs as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State (required). Experience with preschool or pediatric populations preferred but not necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain a consistent schedule. Commitment to inclusive, child-centered therapy practices.
