Job Description:

The Department of Dance and Movement Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2026. This is a full-time, one-year position with a teaching load of five or six courses over two semesters. We welcome new courses that would both complement our current curriculum and offer interdisciplinary opportunities for collaboration across other departments, for example courses in dance and technology/digital media, eco-somatics, social movements and/or hybrid performance forms. For more information on the department, please visit https://www.hws.edu/academics/dance/default.aspx .
