Qualifications: · In-depth knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures. · Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems. · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Responsibilities : Repair brake and steering systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems. Replace or repair transmissions and internal engine repairs as needed. Repair cooling system components and systems, including air conditioners and engine cooling. Perform NY State safety and emissions inspections. Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, rotating tires, etc.). Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting diagnosis and work performed Experience in diagnosing check engine light concerns Experience with Air Conditioning systems and familiar with evacuation equipment Must have own tools, shop does provide a large amount of shop tools Note : This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
