We are seeking a Lighting Technician (L3) to work with the Show and Event Services Department in the Buffalo Branch in Buffalo NY., Warehouse Lighting Technician (L3) Overview: Responsible for the set-up, breakdown, and operation of small to large lighting systems for live events. Reports to and works with the Lighting Department Head to execute show needs. Key Responsibilities for the Lighting Technician (L3) : Equipment Operation/Maintenance Lighting fixture setup and focus, electrical and dimmer controls, lighting console programming and operation. Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment Strong computer skills – CAD or VectorWorks a plus General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge Pull Equipment, Load In, Set up, Operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications for the Lighting Technician (L3): Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred. Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients both internal and external. Maintain a professional image in compliance with company appearance/dress code Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. The pay range is $19 - $20 p/hr.
