across the automotive sector, is seeking a seasoned Sr Mobile
Vehicle Inspector for our Manheim Express brand in Syracuse, NY.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a keen eye
for detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch evaluations of
used vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive
knowledge of automotive systems and components, as well as the
ability to utilize diagnostic tools effectively. This position
plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and condition of
vehicles meet our stringent standards before they are listed for
sale, helping our clients make informed decisions. Conduct detailed
inspections of the interior and exterior of used vehicles,
documenting condition and functionality. Utilize diagnostic tools
to assess vehicle mechanical and electronic systems and identify
any issues. Prepare detailed condition reports, providing clear and
concise feedback on each vehicle. Collaborate with the sales team
by providing the necessary reports and descriptions for auction or
sale listings. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and
operational protocols during the inspection process. Offer
recommendations for repairs and improvements based on inspection
findings. Deep understanding of automotive parts and systems
Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment Strong
observational and analytical skills Effective communication and
report-writing abilities Ability to work independently and make
informed decisions Detail-oriented with a problem-solving approach
ASE Certification highly preferred Valid driver’s license with a
clean record
