Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a Physician Assistant Neonatology for a per diem / prn job in Syracuse, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neonatology - Discipline: Physician Assistant - Duration: Ongoing - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Per Diem Locum/PRN needs for Neonatology Physician Assistants Location: Syracuse, NY Setting: Level III NICU Start Date: August 2025 Shift: Weekend 12- or 24-hour shifts Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage at our Level III NICU starting mid-August 2025. Candidates must be skilled in neonatal intensive care, comfortable with required procedures, and able to supervise NICU RNs and ancillary staff during shifts. Facility & Team: - 16-bed Level III NICU with average daily census of 8–9 - 0–2 admissions per shift - 3 full-time neonatologists, 6 pediatric mid-levels 1 per diem - Neonatologist on-site during the day, on-call overnight - EPIC EMR system Responsibilities: - Attend deliveries and C-sections - Cover NICU and Level I Well-Baby Nursery (night shift only) - No transport responsibilities; nearby Level IV NICU handles all transfers - Perform required NICU procedures (e.g., UAC/UVC, intubation, chest tube, LPs, etc.) - Supervise RNs and support staff Compensation: - Competitive market rates - Travel, lodging, and rental car expenses reimbursed About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
