Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and needs. Administer IV infusions and medications as prescribed. Perform diagnostic evaluations and collaborate with the healthcare team for effective treatment planning. Assist in esthetic laser treatments and other specialized procedures as required. Provide care in the operating room (OR) setting, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Deliver critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing tailored nursing care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in case management activities, coordinating patient care across various services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients. Skills: Proven experience in a medical/surgical nursing environment is preferred. Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and medication administration. Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and critical care management. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and case management processes. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and colleagues. Requirements: Must have minimum 2 years of experience required . Active BLS required . Active RN-NY License is required.
