Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Olean, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical, Tele Nurse for an ongoing contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Olean, NY. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - Evaluate and monitor patients' progress. /n /n - Identify sudden or subtle changes in medical condition. /n /n - Provide regular updates to physicians, patients, and family members. /n /n - Initiate treatment and monitor medication dosages. /n /n - Accurately maintain and update patient records. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of recent experience on a Neurology floor and with Telemetry. /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Current New York State Registered Nurse license, or willingness to obtain. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required. /n /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
