Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Summary: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Watertown, New York Facility Type: Likely a hospital under the Samaritan health system Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts – Includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and call Distance Requirement: Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles away ? Required Qualifications: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing - Active NYS RN license - BLS & ACLS – Required - IV and IV contrast certification – Required - Coronary care course or pass challenge exam within orientation - Basic lethal dysrhythmia course within 6 months of hire - NIHSS certification within first 6 months - Previous travel experience required – Must have completed at least one successful assignment - Cannot have worked for Samaritan in the last 2 years unless eligible for rehire Preferred (But Not Required): - Current critical care experience - PALS certification - Charge nurse experience or willingness to act in that role Note: “We are an equal opportunity employer.
