Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel License & Certifications: Minimum: Current NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (through RQI system during orientation), Basic Coronary Care within 6 months, CPI certification within 90 days. Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association within 2 years, TNCC recommended within 2 years. Professional Skills & Competencies: Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and foster teamwork through effective role modeling. Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred. Patient Care & Customer Focus: Provides age-appropriate care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Applies knowledge of growth and development principles to assess and address patient-specific needs.
