Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 15 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care /n/n Job Details: /n • Work ER day/night/weekend/holiday rotation schedule /n• Schedule includes 3x12-hour shifts plus 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI) /n• Two years acute hospital experience as an RN required /n• One year ED hospital experience as an RN required /n• NYS RN Licensure required /n• Apply nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in emergency care /n• Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priorities /n• Provide direct care and therapeutic interventions for life-threatening and routine emergency situations /n• Conduct triage assessments and assign priority of care using ESI standards /n• Perform primary and secondary assessments for patients of all age groups /n• Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures and treatments /n• Document patient assessments and response to treatments /n• Provide patient and family education for discharge and continuing care /n• Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes /n• Maintain infection prevention compliance and safety protocols /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department providing 24/7 emergency medical services to the community.
