Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Penn Yan, NY. Job Function: /n - Day Shift, Evening Shift and Night. /n - Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. /n - Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. /n - Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention. /n - Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. /n - Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Cert. /n - 2 years of experience. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
