Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/19/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist - Full Time Days Location New York, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Full Time Days (4x10s) shifts to be scheduled between Monday to Friday, with 1 weekend per month and on-call rotation. Job Description The CT Technologist will perform technical radiographic assignments and exercise complex skills, judgment, and knowledge of the principles and methods of Radiologic Technology. This role includes conducting diagnostic radiographic studies, operating portable diagnostic radiographic equipment, and adhering to infection control guidelines. Responsibilities Operate radiographic, CT, and imaging equipment with accuracy. Evaluate images for quality and demonstrate accuracy in positioning based on procedure guidelines. Provide clear and concise instructions during procedures to alleviate patient stress. Maintain competency in at least two specific modalities. Ensure proper radiation protection for self, patients, and personnel. Demonstrate flexibility in assuming emergency call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Utilize RIS and PACS for entering and editing patient exams and charges. Perform required QC activities and adhere to NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure ARRT certification and New York State Licensure are required. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech with some X-ray experience is required.
