Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work full-time schedule of 36 hours per week plus 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks /n• Rotational schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays /n• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families /n• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team /n• Provide direct care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions /n• Evaluate patient progress and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes /n• Conduct patient and family education to assist in understanding self-care beyond hospitalization /n• Promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment /n• Demonstrate skill in medication administration and various nursing interventions /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS /n• New York State RN licensure required /n• Minimum 1 year experience serving in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required /n• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
