Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Med Surg Job Details: • Full-time position working 36 hours per week • Rotational schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays • Provide direct patient care in acute medical/surgical unit with specialized cardiac care including telemetry monitoring • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team • Administer medications and perform nursing interventions • Provide patient and family education for discharge planning and self-care • Maintain infection prevention strategies and safety protocols • Document patient care and education provided • One year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • NYS RN Licensure required • Must demonstrate competency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care • Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing education Facility: This healthcare facility is a community hospital that provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on high-quality, compassionate patient care.
