Provide specialized nursing care in a cutting-edge Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit dedicated to critically ill neurological patients. This state-of-the-art 12-bed ICU focuses on conditions such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other complex neurologic pathologies. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill neuro patients in the ICU - Monitor and manage patients with acute neurologic conditions - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans - Utilize telemetry monitoring systems to assess patient status continuously - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of critical care best practices and protocols - Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills in fast-paced situations Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse license for New York State ONLY - Minimum two years of RN experience with ICU acute care background - Proficient in telemetry monitoring - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required Location:Penfield, NY, offers a welcoming community with convenient access to metropolitan amenities and natural beauty.
