Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,366 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – New York Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Block scheduling available upon request; call required; 1:1 patient ratio Highlights: Diverse surgical caseload including orthopedic total joint and trauma, neurosurgery, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures 14-bed surgical suite with advanced technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System Epic EMR system utilized for documentation Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more Exposure to complex procedures across multiple specialties including bariatric, ENT, general surgery, and microvascular reconstructive cases Professional development opportunity with extensive skills utilization across general OR, laparoscopic, robotic, and open procedures Requirements: Active New York State RN license required in hand prior to submission Current BLS and CNOR certifications required Minimum 3 years of recent operating room experience Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Epic charting experience strongly preferred Must reside outside 75-mile radius from facility Demonstrated competency in orthopedic (total joint and trauma), neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including bariatric, ENT, general surgery, and complex reconstructive cases Minimal time-off requests preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced OR nurse to work in a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment.
