Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A specialized opportunity is
available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) experienced in
educational settings, supporting students with moderate to severe
needs. This position serves K-12 students within a school
environment and requires a professional who is adaptable,
compassionate, and skilled in behavior interventions. Location:
Irving, TX Position Type: Contract, Full-Time, School Year (30
hours/week) Caseload: Itinerant, offering a flexible schedule with
varying start and end times each day Key Responsibilities: Provide
individualized behavioral support to students, including 1:1
interventions for students with severe needs. Implement SEL (Social
and Emotional Learning) training and utilize reset opportunities to
support self-regulation and positive behavior. Manage and assist
one student requiring specialized care who may exhibit verbal and
physical aggression; this student has cerebral palsy and uses a
wheelchair. Conduct behavior assessments and utilize data
collection methods such as GM worksheets. Safely lift, transfer,
and reposition students and equipment as necessary to support
mobility and care. Collaborate effectively with educators,
therapists, and families to maximize student success.
Qualifications and Experience: Certified Registered Behavior
Technician (RBT) credential is required. Previous experience
working in K-12 schools with students demonstrating moderate to
severe disabilities. Ability to manage challenging behaviors
professionally and compassionately. Physical ability to assist with
transfers and repositioning of students and equipment. Strong
communication and documentation skills. This role offers the
