Description: The Electrophysiology Nurse will work a schedule of
three 12-hour shifts primarily during the day, with some evenings
and holidays as needed. This role does not require weekend shifts.
The Electrophysiology Nurse will assist in performing diagnostic
electrophysiology procedures and interventions. Key
responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and
ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Monitoring
read-outs and assisting in data analysis are critical tasks.
Communication with physicians and in-room staff is essential to
ensure availability of equipment and supplies. The
Electrophysiology Nurse will facilitate room turnover and ensure
timely patient care. You will assist in the sterile field,
preparing the patient and equipment for studies and ablations.
Maintaining fluids for ablation catheters and assisting with
ablation equipment is part of the role. You will document
procedures using an electronic medical record system. Proficiency
in moderate sedation is required. Preferred experience includes
cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience. Familiarity
with mapping systems and device implants is a plus. Requirements
