Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,452 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: PCU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Nights Hours per Shift: 7p-7:30a Experience: Current critical care experience preferred. License: Must have a current RN license. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS required. PALS preferred. IV and IV contrast certification required. Basic lethal dysrhythmia certification within six months of employment. NIHSS certification within the first six months of employment. Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Must have completed at least one successful traveler assignment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate. Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement the use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required. Previous employees must have been gone for at least two years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. Description: This position requires a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. The RN will provide quality patient care and assess patient needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual. The RN may be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Candidates should possess the ability to effectively communicate and exhibit strong organizational skills. The role involves working nights and is subject to weekend, holiday, and call requirements.
