of job: Radiologic Technologists at Upstate University Hospital
perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to assist
physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They
ensure patient safety, maintain imaging equipment, and adhere to
hospital and regulatory standards. Strong communication, attention
to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care are
essential in this fast-paced clinical environment. Qualifications:
• Current BLS certifications • Current NY Rad Tech license • ARRT
Certification • 1 year of experience required Responsibilities:
Perform Diagnostic Imaging : Operate radiographic equipment to
produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
Ensure Patient Safety : Follow safety protocols to minimize
radiation exposure and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Maintain Equipment : Calibrate and inspect imaging equipment
regularly to ensure proper functionality and compliance with
regulations. Document and Report Results : Accurately document
procedures and assist radiologists in reviewing and interpreting
images. Collaborate with Healthcare Team : Communicate effectively
with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support coordinated
