Schedule Day Shift (8am-4:30pm) for 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to join our Oncology Department. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy services and ensuring patient safety and comfort during the treatment process. Responsibilities - Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a physician. - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient treatment. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards. - Coordinate with the treatment team to optimize patient care. - Educate patients regarding the procedures and answer any questions they may have. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Current New York State Licensure in Radiation Therapy. - One year of radiologic/imaging experience. - Preferred experience and training in Radiology. - Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Current BCLS certification. - Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
