(0630/0730 - 1530/1630) weekend/holiday on-call rotation required
Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience
required License: Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
(all through AHA or RQI only) and NIHSS required Must-Have: - Skill
in medication administration - Knowledge of nursing theory and
technical skills - Ability to assess patient needs and develop an
individualized plan of care Description: The Registered Nurse
applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical skills, and
communication abilities in delivering high-quality compassionate
care to patients and families. The Registered Nurse assesses
patient needs. They develop plans of care in collaboration with the
interdisciplinary team. Direct care is provided, and patient
progress is evaluated. Coordination of care delivery throughout the
patient's episode is ensured. The Operating Room RN develops
specialized skills in caring for patients admitted for medical
conditions. They provide care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric
populations. Accountability for patient and family education is
maintained to assist in understanding self-care beyond
hospitalization. This includes promoting lifestyle changes to
support health and healing. The Registered Nurse is expected to
promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing
environment. Nursing knowledge and skill are applied in the
delivery of care. Patient and family needs are assessed through
active listening and social perceptiveness. Data and information
are analyzed through direct observation, assessment, technology, or
communication with the health team. An age-appropriate, culturally
relevant, individualized plan of care is created to address health
problems identified. In collaboration with the patient, family,
physician, and healthcare team members, goals are set and monitored
for progress. The plan is adjusted based on patient response or
