Leadership : Provide guidance and oversight to OB/GYN physicians,
midwives, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices
and patient safety standards. Operational Management : Oversee
departmental operations, including budgeting, resource allocation,
and policy development, to ensure efficient and effective service
delivery. Quality Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance patient
outcomes through continuous quality improvement processes and
adherence to clinical guidelines. Education and Training: Develop
and implement educational programs for medical students, residents,
and staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and
professional development. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with
hospital leadership to set departmental goals and contribute to the
institution's strategic initiatives, aligning with the
organization's mission and vision. Community Engagement: Establish
and maintain relationships with referring physicians and community

Lead patient safety and quality initiatives that uphold the ethical
practice of Women’s Health while prioritizing patient and physician

regulatory compliance, and operational initiatives for the OB/GYN
department, driving measurable outcomes in quality, efficiency, and
satisfaction. What You'll Do As the Chair of OB/GYN, you will:
Responsibilities: Clinical & Administrative Balance: Split your
time 25% clinical and 75% administrative, providing hands-on
patient care while leading strategic initiatives within the OB/GYN
department. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of OB/GYN
physicians, midwives, and advanced practice providers, fostering
professional growth and maintaining high standards of care.
Department Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the OB/GYN
department, managing scheduling, performance evaluations, and
ensuring adherence to quality assurance measures. Quality
Improvement: Lead initiatives to standardize OB/GYN care protocols,
monitor key performance metrics, and drive continuous quality
improvements across the hospital and health system. Leadership
Representation: Represent the OB/GYN department in hospital
committees, community outreach programs, and media relations,
serving as a trusted leader and spokesperson. Collaboration with
Administration: Partner with hospital administration on strategic
planning, budgeting, and enhancing departmental performance and
patient care delivery. What You Bring Board Certification: Required
in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Licensure: Active New York State
medical license (or eligibility). Certifications: Current
certifications in Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP), and any other relevant OB/GYN
certifications. Experience: 3-5 years of clinical experience in
OB/GYN required. Leadership experience in a high-volume obstetric
setting preferred. Commitment: Passion for delivering exceptional
maternal and reproductive care and inspiring teams to excel under
your leadership. Vision: A focus on quality, patient safety, and
innovation to drive improvements in OB/GYN care and patient
outcomes. Collaboration: Ability to build strong partnerships
within the healthcare system, including with maternal-fetal
medicine specialists, nursing staff, and the broader community.
