Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,280 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Med/Surg Telemetry Float RN – New York Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Watertown, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), weekend, holiday, and call required Highlights: 13-week assignment with float responsibilities across Medical/Surgical units, Progressive Care Unit, and acute inpatient rehabilitation Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with diverse case mix including sepsis, COPD, CHF, post-operative, general med/surg, and orthopedic/neuro rehabilitation patients Meditech EMR system in use; experience with this platform required Float coverage includes MS 4 Pavilion, MS 5 Pratt, PCU, and acute inpatient rehab units Experience with heparin drips, magnesium and potassium riders required Progressive Care Unit experience highly preferred Requirements: Current New York RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing At least one successfully completed travel assignment; first-time travelers will not be considered Meditech experience required Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual patient needs Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate; may assume charge nurse duties Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to function well under stress with creative problem-solving abilities Must recognize safety issues and implement proper lift techniques for patient mobility Why It's a Great Opportunity: This float position offers the chance to expand your clinical expertise across multiple specialty units while working with diverse patient populations.
