in Geneva, New York, 14456! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float
Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Critical Care
Duration: Full Time Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM
- 7:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in
MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units License: Currently licensed as a
registered professional nurse Certifications: - BLS, ACLS, PALS
(through American Heart Association) - NIHSS - Basic Coronary Care
within 6 months of hire - CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Must-Have: - Able to float to ICU, ER, MedSurg, and MST -
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with
discretion - Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance team
spirit - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational
skills - Computer literacy Description: The position requires a
Registered Nurse to work in a Float Pool. The role involves
rotating shifts including every other weekend and holidays.
Candidates must be cross-trained for multiple units. A Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Critical care experience is a
necessity. Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is
recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC certification is also
recommended within the same timeframe. The individual must
demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the patient age
group. Ability to assess patient data and requirements is
essential. The nurse must exemplify professional behavior,
effective communication, and maintain a safe environment. 5
