qualified Med/Surg RN in Geneva, New York, 14456! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical

Minimum of 1 year in a Medical/Surgical environment as a Registered
Nurse License: New York State Registered Nurse Licensure
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS Must-Have: -
Minimum of 1 year experience serving in a Medical/Surgical
environment as a Registered Nurse - BLS and ACLS certifications
required Description: The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of
nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering
high-quality compassionate care to patients and families. The
Registered Professional Nurse assesses patient needs and develops a
plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
He/She provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and
coordinates the care delivery throughout the patient's episode. The
Registered Nurse develops specialized skills in the area of
patients admitted for medical conditions. He/She provides care to
adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical
conditions. The Registered Nurse is accountable for patient and
family education to assist in understanding self-care beyond
hospitalization, including lifestyle changes to support health and
healing. The Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and
provide emotional support in a healing environment. The role
includes applying nursing knowledge and skill in the delivery of
care. The nurse assesses patient and family needs through active
listening and social perceptiveness. He/She analyzes data obtained
through observation, assessment, technology, or health team
communication. A developmentally and culturally relevant
individualized plan of care is created to address the patient’s
health problems. In collaboration with the patient, family,
physician, and healthcare team members, he/she sets goals and
monitors patient progress. The Registered Nurse adjusts the plan
based on patient response or change in condition. The nurse

rights of the patient. He/She encourages mutual trust and
cooperation among team members to achieve the best possible patient
