Must-Have: - Stepdown/PCU experience - High acuity stroke and
neurosurgery experience - Telemetry experience Description: The
Level 2 Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of
competent care based on established standards. This role includes
an expanded scope, which may involve charge nurse, preceptor, and
committee member responsibilities. Candidates must have experience
in high acuity settings and telemetric monitoring. Experience in
neuro checks, external ventricular drains, lumbar drains, sub-dural
drains, and various infusions is essential. Familiarity with
procedures such as carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm
clipping/coiling, deep brain stimulator insertion, and ventricular
shunts is required. The registered nurse will be accountable for
clinical practice and will contribute to service excellence,
professional development, and research based on evidence. The
position requires a commitment to ongoing personal and professional
development. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends,
