An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to contribute expert care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves providing critical support to newborns requiring specialized medical attention, ensuring high standards of care and comfort to patients and their families. Location:This position is based in Syracuse, NY, a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural offerings. Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU. - Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to changes in health status. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely patient documentation. - Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and standards. Qualifications & Experience: - Active and clear Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years experience in a NICU nursing role. - Certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP mandatory. - Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record system. - Comfortable wearing scrubs of any color, adhering to dress code policies. Schedule: - 36 hours per week. Additional Details:This is a 16-week contract position. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the location are eligible for a local rate. The role includes working in a supportive environment where professional skills are valued.
