hand to submit Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
Must-Have: Epic charting experience is a hard requirement
Candidates will float when census warrants Minimal RTO please Every
other weekend required Description: The position is for an
Emergency Room Registered Nurse. Candidates must have at least one
year of experience in a similar role. First-time travelers are
welcome to apply. Ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients with
mixed/shared acuity levels. Candidates must have certifications in
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS. Skills required include management of
dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, and starting IVs. Experience with
emergency medications and IV vasopressors is expected. The job will
involve managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
Interpretation of dysrhythmias and procedural sedation
administration are required. Candidates should be comfortable
managing patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. Daily
census includes caring for an average of 64 patients with
approximately 145 visits per day. The unit features
interdisciplinary support, including IV teams and respiratory
services. All charting will be conducted using the Epic system.
