Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,258 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shift schedule Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in an operating room License: RN License (New York State only) Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Ability to scrub and circulate - Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital is preferred - Robotics experience is desired Description: The operating room cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecological, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are two Davinci robots used by multiple services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts. Job duties include providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Strong orthopedic background and experience with specialty cases such as transplants and reconstructive surgery are preferred. Familiarity with craniotomy procedures is highly desired.
