Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work rotating day/evening/night shift schedules - no straight shifts available /n• Every other weekend schedule required /n• Holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs /n• Provide competent patient care based on established standards under direction of Nurse Manager /n• Assume expanded role responsibilities including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties /n• Engage in clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, research and evidence-based practice /n• Two years of nursing experience required /n• Telemetry experience required /n• New York RN license required (NY licenses only accepted) /n• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only) /n• Level II Registered Nurse position with expanded accountability and leadership opportunities /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
