Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,344 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Rochester, New York, 14626! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 AM to 7:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in PACU License: NY license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Phase I PACU experience Phase II Recovery experience Endo/Laparoscopic experience General, Orthopedic, Ortho/Spine, and Ortho/Total Joint experience Description: This position involves 5 shifts per week. Shifts are from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Two weekend call shifts per month are required. The total number of shifts required is four: two on weekends and two on weeknights. The unit accepts first-time travelers. There is 41 beds in the unit. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The staffing ratio during the day is 2 patients per nurse. Epic charting experience is mandatory. Candidates must float to other areas as needed.
