Schedule / Shift 4x10.0 - Blocked nights Monday to Thursday, no on-call, no weekends. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a fast-paced Interventional Radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. This role involves providing pre/post procedural care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. The nurse will care for both inpatient and outpatient populations and is responsible for the overnight observation care of patients boarding pre or post-procedure. Responsibilities - Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedural recovery. - Oversee the overnight care for patients in recovery. - Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - 2 years of Registered Nursing experience in Interventional Radiology. - Telemetry experience is required. - Current New York RN license is mandatory. - BLS (American Heart Association only) certification required. - ACLS (American Heart Association only) certification required.
