Our Psychiatrists are expected to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat mental illnesses, and offer psychotherapy. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to creating a holistic treatment environment. This position requires deep understanding and adherence to medical ethics and laws that govern mental health practice in Texas. Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess and diagnose mental health conditions. Prescribe and manage medications according to contemporary psychiatric medical management norms. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Provide psychotherapy and counsel patients and families on behavioral health issues. Coordinate with healthcare providers to review treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Stay informed of the latest trends and breakthroughs in psychiatric medicine. Strong clinical skills in psychiatry and mental health Ability to manage a diverse caseload Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Knowledge of psychiatric medication and its side effects Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Valid Texas medical license DEA certification
