Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Location: Rochester, NY Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12 D/N Rotation (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Position Requirements - Must have active NY RN License in hand - Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience - First-time travelers accepted - Locals must reside outside 75-mile radius - Every other weekend required Certifications (Required) - ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - BLS – Basic Life Support - NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program - EFM – Electronic Fetal Monitoring Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients - Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs using EFM - Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries - Administer medications and IV therapy per protocol - Support high-risk obstetric patients - Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care - Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31897045.
