Enjoy nearby parks, waterfront scenery, and convenient weekend getaways in the Thousand Islands region./n /n/nJob Details (Travel Nursing)/n /n - Job Title: Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)/n - Location: Watertown, NY 13601 (New York healthcare job)/n - Start Date: April 6, 2026/n - End Date: July 8, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks (travel RN contract)/n - Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)/n - Shift Duration: 12-hour nights/n - Hours: 36 hours/week/n - Employment Type: Travel / Contract/n - Openings: 1/n - Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2060–$2170/n /n/nER RN Requirements (Qualifications)/n /n - Active New York State RN license (Registered Nurse)/n - Travel experience required/n - BLS and ACLS (AHA) required/n - PALS required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer)/n - MEDITECH EMR experience required/n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/n - Travel eligibility: Must meet the 100-mile radius rule (candidate’s primary residence must be at least 100 miles from the facility)/n - Ability to recognize and intervene in life-threatening emergencies/n - Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills; ability to perform well under pressure in a high-acuity setting/n /n/nEmergency Department RN Responsibilities/n /n - Provide rapid assessment, triage, and evidence-based emergency nursing care to ED patients across a wide range of acuity/n - Identify clinical deterioration and initiate appropriate emergency interventions/n - Administer medications, start IVs, and perform phlebotomy per department protocols/n - Document patient care accurately and efficiently per facility standards and regulatory requirements/n - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostics, treatment, and disposition/n - Maintain patient and staff safety, including safe patient handling and use of lifts as appropriate/n - Support department flow and prioritize care in a high-volume, high-stress environment/n - May assume charge nurse duties as needed; critical care and charge experience preferred/n - Complete required competency milestones, including dysrhythmia/defibrillation and IV/medication competencies within designated timeframes/n /n/n Apply now to join our team for this travel nursing opportunity in Watertown, NY.
