Job Description A Homer, New York based client is seeking an
experienced Pediatrician to provide excellent primary care services
to children. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a
collaborative environment, values evidence-based practice, and
values patient centered care. The position is predominantly
outpatient, with inpatient well-baby rounding. Required
Qualifications - Graduated from an accredited medical school with a
MD or DO degree - Current New York medical license - Completed an
accredited residency program - Current DEA certificate - Board
certified or board eligible in pediatrics - Current BLS
certification Responsibilities - Assess and diagnose a variety of
diseases and injuries in children - Order diagnostic tests and
laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans
based on results - Perform therapeutic procedures and educate
patients on their treatment plans - Arrange referrals,
consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload -
Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
