Orthopedic Sports Surgery opening in Syracuse, NYFull-time;
PermanentSeeking BC/BEEmployed Overview: Actively seeking a
fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic
Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine Surgery. Exceptional
opportunity to become a founding member of a newly established,
hospital-employed orthopedic group. Opportunity to help shape the
program from its inception. Hospital-employed position. Be part of
a new program with leadership input and growth potential. Practice
based at one hospital campus and affiliated ambulatory surgery
center. Surgical PA support provided to enhance efficiency and care
delivery. Position Offers: Compensation range of $630,000-$760,000
base salary. Posted salary reflects the starting range of total
compensation and excludes productivity bonuses, quality and
performance incentives, extra shift incentives, and other
applicable cash compensation. $50,000 starting bonus. Up to $25,000
for relocation assistance. Comprehensive benefits including health,
dental, and vision coverage. Paid malpractice with tail coverage.
CME time and $4,500 annual expense allowance. Generous paid time
off (PTO). Retirement savings program with employer match. Loan
repayment eligibility through the federal Public Service Loan
Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Requirements: Board Certified or Board
Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Fellowship training in Sports
Surgery. Fellowship-trained in sports medicine with specialization
in hip arthroscopy. New York State medical license or eligibility
required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Estimated pay
range/amount is $630,000-$760,000.
