Job Description Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Seeking an experienced Med Surg / Telemetry RN comfortable working in a float pool supporting multiple inpatient units in Watertown. This role requires strong adaptability, solid cardiac monitoring experience, and prior travel assignment success. Assignment Details - Location: Watertown, NY. - Duration: 13 Weeks. - Start Date: March 30, 2026. - Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. - Weekend, holiday, and call requirements apply. - Floating required across Med Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatric units. Required Experience - Med Surg / Telemetry RN experience. - Coronary care experience. - Minimum one successfully completed travel RN assignment. - Comfortable floating across multiple acute care units. Required Certifications - BLS – American Heart Association (AHA) - ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA) Required License - Active New York RN License. Education - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred - Previous float pool experience. - Experience working in high-acuity hospital environments. - MEDITECH EMR experience.
