Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title: Electrophysiology Registered

Ability to communicate with physicians and other in-room staff to
ensure all equipment and supplies are available. - Experience with
moderate sedation. Description: An electrophysiology registered
nurse performs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and
interventions in a clinical setting. Duties include preparing the
patient for procedures and ensuring that all equipment is in
working order. Monitoring read-outs and recordings during
procedures is essential. The role involves assisting with lab
analysis and interpreting data, and communicating any concerns to
the physician or specialist. Responsibilities also include
assisting with pacing implementation and other permanent devices
related to cardiac health. The EP RN will assist at the sterile
field, prepping the patient and equipment for studies and ablations
as the circulator. This role requires maintenance of fluids for the
ablation catheter and assistance with ablation procedures. The
primary focus is on patient care while assisting anesthesia and
documenting during studies and ablations. Backup pacing during
implants is also a key responsibility. Epic is used for documenting
procedures, and proficiency in this system is required. Experience
with cardiac implant or structural heart scrub is preferred but not
required. Familiarity with GE systems such as MacLab and CardioLab
is also preferred. Typical procedures performed include RF and cryo
ablations for various conditions and device implants such as
traditional pacemakers and ICDs. The position requires strong
coordination with nursing staff and third-party vendors to ensure
