Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,258 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shift Schedule Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Two (2) years License: RN License (NY License ONLY) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred), NIHSS (preferred) Must-Have: - Stepdown experience - High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience - Telemetry experience Description: Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice, the Level 2 Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. The Level 2 Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. Candidates must have stepdown/PCU experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required. High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience is required. Telemetry experience is required. ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred. Experience with neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and Cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizures is essential.
