Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,380 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Watertown, New York, 13601! Job Title: FLOAT RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of one successful traveler assignment required; previous hospital RN experience preferred; coronary care experience needed. License: Current NY license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects. Recognize safety issues to self and others. Implement the use of lifts to safely move patients. Function well in stressful situations with good problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate. Ability to assume duties as a charge nurse if required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills. Description: The FLOAT RN will be comfortable floating to various units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics. This role requires the ability to assess and implement care based on patient needs. Candidates must be able to recognize and address safety issues. A strong background in coronary care is necessary for this position. The FLOAT RN should possess excellent leadership and communication skills. The ability to function in high-stress environments is essential.
