Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - SMH : L3RN : Cardiology RN Job Details: • Work rotating day/evening/night shift schedules • Weekend, holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs • 48 hours straight time consideration available • Provide competent care based on established standards under direction of Nurse Manager • Work on 25-bed unit caring for variety of surgical patients including thoracic, foregut, and plastics • Care for burn patients and manage 2 stepdown beds for post-operative patients requiring frequent monitoring • Specialize in management and care for Pulmonary hypertension patients • Develop diversified skill set working with variety of medical equipment, tubes, lines, and drains • May assume expanded role including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities • 2 years of nursing experience required • Telemetry experience required • BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required • New York RN license required (ONLY NY licenses accepted) Facility: This major academic medical center operates a specialized 25-bed unit focusing on diverse surgical and cardiac care services.
