Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Geneva, New York,
14456! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 14 weeks Shift:
Full-Time Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience:
Minimum 1 year in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units required.
License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required through the
American Heart Association. Must-Have: BSN and critical care
experience. Comfort with floating to various units including ICU,
ER, Med/Surg required. Description: RN Nights position with
rotating holiday and weekend requirements, along with two on-call
shifts every four weeks. Must be cross-trained for multiple units
including medical/surgical, ICU, ER, and MST. Basic Coronary Care
certification is required within six months of hire. CPI
certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended
within two years of hire. TNCC certification is also recommended
within two years of hire. Demonstrated ability to handle
confidential information with discretion is required. Must be able
to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability
to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities is essential. The
role requires enhancing the spirit of teamwork through effective
role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and
organizational skills are necessary. Computer literacy is
preferred, including experience with Microsoft Office products and
electronic medical records. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and
skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients of all
ages. Understanding of growth and development principles throughout
the lifespan is essential. Ability to assess data reflecting
patient status and interpret information necessary to identify
patients' needs is required. Care must be adapted to meet the
age-specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
