Details - Medical/Surgical unit (6N Irving) within a hospital setting - Patient population consists primarily of stroke and medical patients - Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts) - Every other weekend required - 16-week contract - Charting is performed in Epic Requirements - Active NY RN license required - Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — NIHSS must be obtained prior to start - Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required - Prior stroke care experience required - Prior travel nursing experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Resume with no gaps in work history required for consideration - 2 professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration - Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration Additional Information - Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a different pay rate - Any color scrubs are acceptable American Traveler Job ID P-676923.
