Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg Level I for a travel nursing job in Geneva, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 15 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Part-time position requiring 24 hours plus 2 on-call shifts within a 4-week period /n• Rotational schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays /n• Provide care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions /n• Apply nursing knowledge and technical skills in delivering compassionate patient care /n• Assess patient and family needs, develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team /n• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes /n• Conduct patient and family education to assist with self-care beyond hospitalization /n• Promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment /n• Demonstrate skills in medication administration and various nursing interventions /n• Required certifications: NYS RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS /n• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required /n• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families.
