seeking a Legal Assistant who is excited to grow into a Case
Manager role over the next six to twelve months. This position is
designed as a development opportunity for someone who wants to
build a long-term career in personal injury law with Richmond Vona.
You will report to and sit alongside an experienced Case Manager
and receive hands-on training, mentorship, and progressive
responsibility. Depending on experience and readiness, you may
begin as a floater supporting multiple cases or transitioning into
managing a defined caseload as you grow into the role. We have an

considered qualified, candidates should possess the following at a
minimum: A compassionate, team-oriented mindset with a genuine
interest in helping injured clients. The ability to work
independently, think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and
approach problems with curiosity. Strong technological and
organizational skills, a willingness to learn new systems and
processes. Clear and effective interpersonal and communication
skills. The ability to remain composed, adaptable, and accountable
in a fast-paced professional environment. At least one year of
experience working in a professional office environment. Prior
experience as a legal assistant in plaintiffs personal injury or
personal injury defense is helpful, but we are equally focused on
aptitude, coachability, and long-term potential. We're looking for

responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support Case
Managers and Litigation Paralegals with day-to-day case work,
documentation and follow-through. Prepare case documents and forms
using firm templates, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to
review. Assist with obtaining and organizing case materials such as
police reports, incident reports, medical records, FOIL requests,
and other supporting documentation. Review and notate medical
records to understand treatment, timelines, and key facts relevant
to the case. Communicate with clients to gather information,
provide updates, and help manage expectations. Coordinate
case-related tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and
follow-ups. Handle routine insurance communications with
appropriate oversight and escalate issues when necessary. Learn and
apply foundational personal injury concepts including insurance
coverage, no-fault, and lost wage claims. Take on increased
responsibility over time with the goal of independently managing
cases as a Case Manager. What we offer you thats different.
Compensation:Hourly rate of $20.00$22.00 per hour, based on
experience and qualifications, with room for growth and regular
performance reviews. Bonuses tied to firm profitability. Highly
qualified candidates with directly relevant experience may be

This role is intentionally structured as a pathway into a Case
Manager position. For high performing team members who demonstrate
mastery of core responsibilities, sound judgment, and alignment
with firm values, advancement typically occurs within 6 to 12
months. Growth is supported through hands on training, mentorship,
and progressively increased responsibility. Advancement is
performance based and not automatic. Work hours:Generally, Monday
through Friday, 9:00am5:00pm, with built-in flexibility and summer
hours. After six months of successful performance, team members may
be eligible for one remote workday per week, subject to role needs
and manager approval. Location:Beautiful newly renovated office
space located downtown (parking available onsite, at no charge).
